JOB DESCRIPTION

Based in Ovar, Portugal, you will temporarily support the purchase of productive and non-productive materials during a maternity leave

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in similar responsibilities (experience in an international environment is a plus)
• Solid communication skills to interact with several stakeholders (English language skills is a plus)
• Experience with Office365 and ERPs (InforLN is a plus)
• Dynamic and perspicacious personal skills
• Resident in Ovar or nearby area

• Review requisition orders, stock orders and quotation requests, for productive and non-productive materials, to ensure accuracy and correct item specifications
• Request suppliers’ quotations and check prices with Purchasing Manager
• Creates POs based on Purchasing requisitions, and submits to supplier
• Respond to supplier inquiries about clarifying orders, changes in requests, delivery requirements and cancellations
• Follows up confirmation of order quantity, pricing, and delivery lead-times
• Resolve problems with suppliers to speed up deliveries and to minimize the risk of supply shortages
• Reports status of POs on request
• Support solving invoice issues (missed quantities, price differences, etc.)
• Assure audit compliance and order accuracy
