YOUR PART IN THE PERFORMANCE

We are seeking an experienced and organized Purchasing Administration Manager to lead a team responsible for providing vital administrative support to the Purchasing Department. This role ensures that our purchasing operations run smoothly, with a focus on order processing, stock administration, and communication with suppliers. You will coordinate the administrative side of purchasing, ensuring that all processes are streamlined and efficient.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and supporting a team of administrators who handle the processing of orders and stock product administration.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and manufacturers to provide accurate ETAs and maintain smooth communication.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate updates of pricing, inventory, and purchase orders.
  • Coordinating the flow of information between the Purchasing Department and other internal teams, such as Customer Services and the Distribution Centre.
  • Leading weekly team meetings, tracking performance metrics, and overseeing team schedules and holiday planning.
  • Supporting the Purchasing Department with additional administrative tasks when required.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a background in administration.
  • The ability to oversee complex administrative processes, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Experience in purchasing or supply chain environments (knowledge of the music instrument industry is a plus but not essential).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong attention to detail and proficiency in IT, including advanced Excel skills.
