La Rousse Foods is a 100% Irish-owned company, specialising in the supply of fine foods to premium food establishments since 1992. Our own temperature-controlled logistic fleet ensures an efficient daily service to meet chefs` needs throughout Ireland.

Food safety and quality is paramount to what we do and La Rousse Foods has been ISO 22000 accredited since 2009 and upgraded to FSSC 22000 in 2014.

The Purchasing Administrator is a crucial role in supporting various aspects of our operations, from ensuring compliance with internal requirements to collaborating with the Food Director, Food Team which includes category specialists, purchasers and marketing. This position involves a diverse range of responsibilities, including commercial strategy, data analysis, financial reporting, and more.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with the Food Director and Food Team actively contributing to the planning and execution of quarterly and annual targets, fostering a cohesive and goal-oriented team environment. Develop and implement tailor-made processes to enhance communication between teams and team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Executive Support: Provide crucial assistance to the Food Director in daily activities, offering support in various operational aspects to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Analytical Prowess: Apply data analysis skills to generate insightful reports and facilitate financial reporting, contributing to informed decision-making processes and strategic planning. Demonstrate an understanding of terms and conditions, actively participating in new product listings and part of a team in developing key supplier relationships.
  • You will be responsible for the support and smooth running of events/day to day duties by carrying out clerical tasks and projects.
  • Compliance Champion: Ensure strict adherence to internal, customs and international trade requirements when onboarding new suppliers or introducing new products, guaranteeing the company`s commitment to compliance and food safety quality standards, to include full terms and conditions compliance with new and existing suppliers
  • Food team support: Support the Food Team with the organisation of events, training sessions for the sales team, suppliers’ visits, new products’ showcases and producers locally and globally.
  • Innovative Tool Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing various tools and software for commercial management, engaging presentations, and creative design.

These responsibilities collectively contribute to the holistic role of a Food Team Coordinator at La Rousse Foods, where excellence, innovation, and collaboration are integral to success.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Good computer knowledge in Microsoft, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of ERPs and platforms such as Shopify is an advantage
  • Must have good English, additional language(s) would be beneficial
  • Driving License is an advantage
