Description:
Unilin Insulation is looking to recruit a Purchasing Administator on a Full-Time, Permanent basis. The successful cadidate will be responsible for the administration duties of the Procurement Department. #Insulationuk
Responsibilities:
- Work within the ethos and standards of the company
- Support the Procurement Manager on the implementation and monitoring of purchasing process throughout Unilin Insulation plants
- Responsible for coordinating, booking and confirming, flights, taxis, car hire and hotels for Ireland and UK
- Source & negotiate with suppliers to secure best possible outcome
- Work with company software and when required as part of your role
- Drive costs reductions to meet company targets and be aware of cost implications whilst performing your duties
- Ensure all requested purchases are placed on time and procedures are followed, through liaising with suppliers to ensure orders are confirmed
- Support & liaise with departments in dealing with issues that arise with late deliveries of goods & services
- Working with the Finance Department to assist in resolving any errors which may occur
- Manage and minimise inventory whist ensuring adequate stock levels
- Run and analyse monthly/weekly purchasing reports to include pivot table reports and security reports ensure accurate information is kept
- Organize collections, deliveries and maintenance of company vehicles for all departments within the group
- Ensure lease vehicles are maintained to a high standard and when required hires are sourced through appropriate procedures
- Complete Ad hoc administration, projects with purchasing or other departments as and when required
- Co-ordinate sub-contractors when required and ensure accurate records are kept
- Tasks may require flexible working hours and you may be asked to travel to other sites from time to time
