Our Edmonton team is now expanding, and we are looking to add a Purchasing Assistant to our West Edmonton Yard. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this role will focus on preparing purchase orders, shipping, receiving, order, and return assembling of inventories located both in our warehouse and outside yard.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-3 years experience as a purchasing assistant or lead shipper / receiver.
• Available to work Monday through Friday 8AM 4PM with overtime opportunities during peak seasonal activity.
• This position is a fast paced environment and works out of our West Edmonton Yard is not camp based or remote. Public transit access is not available at the work location.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Construction materials. Plumbing, electrical etc
