Responsibilities:
Vendor Management:
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.
Sourcing and Procurement:
Source and purchase goods and services in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate terms, and issue purchase orders.
Price Negotiation:
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
Continuously seek opportunities for cost savings and improved value.
Order Processing:
Process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Track and manage order status, and coordinate with suppliers to resolve any issues.
Contract Management:
Review and negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
Monitor contract performance and address any deviations.
Inventory Management:
Work closely with parts room and production teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
Coordinate with suppliers to manage lead times and order quantities.
Quality Control:
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that purchased items meet specified standards.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchasing transactions.
Generate reports on purchasing activities for management review.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
Stay informed about changes in regulations affecting procurement.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, production, and logistics.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and meet their procurement needs.
Additional Duties:
