POSITION OVERVIEW::

Trans Canada Safety is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing purchasing activities, inventory control, and vendor relations within a fast-paced environment. Whether you’re experienced or new to the field, we welcome individuals who are eager to learn and grow with us.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced industry.
• Experience with MS Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with QuickBooks is an asset but not required.

• Create and process accurate purchase orders.
• Manage inventory and monitor stock levels to ensure timely replenishment.
• Coordinate and maintain vendor orders and relationships.
• Maintain up-to-date price lists to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Schedule incoming and outgoing freight shipments.
• Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks in a high-paced environment.
