Purchasing Data Analyst

The Purchasing Data Analyst will report directly to the Analytics Manager and will support the management team with reporting, analysis, standardization of processes/tools, and project management.

• Analyze key performance indicators, identify, interpret, and analyze trends in data sets. Create and maintain department and individual KPI dashboards.
• Optimize data-gathering activities, such that it can be repeated with minimal effort on a periodic (e.g., monthly) basis.
• Drive creation of consistent and ideally automated data reporting for key metrics such as spend, shipping performance & savings.
• Assist the Manager and others with the development of commodity strategy preparation, sourcing activities and standard work.
• Prepare presentations to management (Ex: project updates) and, as appropriate, present to the Purchasing Leadership Team.
• Attend meetings as required to support or represent the Manager. Assist with ad hoc requests such as financial impact analyses.
• Develop and research best practices for DRiV Purchasing.
