Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the accounts payable function, managing supplier invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for finance, who is looking to develop their career within a dynamic and growing business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Processing Supplier Invoices: Accurately process purchase invoices and ensure they are properly coded, authorised, and matched with purchase orders.
Supplier Payments: Prepare supplier payment runs and ensure timely and accurate payments are made in accordance with payment terms.
Reconciliations: Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations to ensure accounts are up to date and any discrepancies are addressed.
Invoice Queries: Manage and resolve invoice discrepancies and liaise with suppliers to ensure smooth communication.
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports as required by the finance team.
Filing & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems for all purchase ledger-related documents.
Compliance: Ensure all financial records are compliant with internal policies and relevant legislation
