Hyatt Regency Vancouver is seeking a dedicated professional to join the team as a Purchasing Manager.
The Purchasing Manager is responsible for the provisioning (procurement, inventory and distribution) of all food, beverage and related supplies for the hotel. This would include ensuring quality products are consistently maintained according to established policies and procedures. Responsible for receiving for the Food & Beverage Departments and directing the purchases of all areas according to established policies and procedures. Responsible for storeroom inventory, stocking and cleaning. Duties also include daily tracking of all F&B credits, working with vendors, and Accounts Payable. This person must be able to lift a moderate to heavy weight.
This person is highly organized, have high attention to detail, familiar with restaurant and hotel equipment, excellent customer service skills, have general accounting knowledge essential, ability to work independently without close supervision, computer literate (MS Office 2010, Opera), able to work in a team environment. Must have good communication skills.
Salary range: $68,000 - $73,000 per year
