Description:
REQUIREMENTS:
- College diploma or University degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5-7 years of purchasing and broader supply chain experience; preferably in either food manufacturing or food service industry.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including intermediate to advanced skills in Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills, including the ability to write in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to identify complex problems, review information to develop and evaluate options then implement solutions.
- Must possess strong organization skills, including the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects to meet various deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to motivate self and others.

Responsibilities:
- Manages the process to source and qualify potential local and global suppliers and their products.
- Collaborates with category and product development teams to prioritize business needs and execute innovation and product value equation projects.
- Manages supplier relationships including but not limited to, contract negotiations documentation and compliance, capability assessments, establishment and tracking of supplier KPI’s, issue resolution, and joint business planning.
- Prepares financial plans and forecasts for respective category, supplier and product areas by conducting supplier and market analysis using relevant industry data.
- Develops and communicates on an ongoing basis category planning to reflect changes in the supply, industry landscape and the needs of the company.
- Ensures supplier pricing entry and compliance.
- In partnership with planning, mitigates financial liability on ingredients, packaging and finished good inventory.
- Other duties as assigned.
