Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet the company’s needs.
  2. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts and prices.
  3. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
  4. Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.
  5. Manage the procurement process, including requisitions, purchase orders, and invoice approvals.
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements in all purchasing activities.
  7. Coordinate with other departments to forecast demand and ensure accurate inventory levels.
  8. Evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  9. Resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or payment discrepancies with suppliers.
