Purchasing Officer

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of any business course, preferably related to procurement or supply chain management (experience in the fuel industry is a plus)
• Must be a highly strategic contract/procurement expert
• With over 3 years of experience in materials and services-related vendor management (full labor and full material labor) with exposure to handling large-scale portfolios and contracts in their current role
• Has knowledge in global sourcing, new-age procurement technologies, and business intelligence tools such as SAP
• Result-oriented with good communication and coordination skills

• Manage the allocation of duties to team members to ensure that all deadlines are met in accordance with agreed service levels
• Supervise purchase order processing activities and identify opportunities to add value to the procurement process throughout the company
• Oversee all programs and assist in administering best pricing strategies for all purchase materials and suppliers, analyze all new issues in materials, recommend strategies to improve quality, and manage inventory levels for all products
