Job Description
An experienced and results-driven Senior Purchasing Quality Leader with a strategic focus on fostering people development, building strong relationships with internal customers and business partners in US, Mx and Br); and demonstrating strong leadership in managing quality aspects related to indirect purchasing (i-Buy), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), System Audits, 3TG (Conflict Minerals).
Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
This leader will be responsible of associates located in Mexico and Brazil. The job includes interaction in regional and global bases with cross functional teams.
Qualifications
- People Development: experienced in coaching, mentoring, and developing teams to enhance performance, cultivate talent, and foster a culture of quality and excellence.
- Stakeholder Management: skilled in building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment of quality objectives with organizational goals.
- Leadership in Quality Complaints: proficient in leading investigations via 8D, root cause.
- Contracting Acquisitions: managing special contracting acquisitions in the Americas (US, MX and BR), ensuring deliverable requirements are met and contracts are executed efficiently and bring value to our customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering
- Proficient in English, with fluency in Spanish as an additional valuable skill.
- Analytical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, effective communication, relationship building, risk management, conflict resolution, and continuous Improvement (CIP).
