We are looking for a
Responsibilities:
As a Purchasing professional you are responsible for
- Sending inquiries and purchase orders in the ERP system & confirming deliveries with suppliers in your own category.
- The category you are responsible will be the plate shape cuts which will be further processed in our own workshops.
- You should also take ownership of aligning supply plans with demand requirements for selected category.
- Monitor material availability and proactively take necessary actions in closing possible gaps.
- Track supplier performance to purchase order requirements.
- Oversee supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolve performance issues together with supplier responsible persons.
- Ensure that all purchasing activities align with corporate policies and procedures, e.g., correct goods received/invoice received discrepancie
Key success factors in this role are
- You should have an engineering degree or other College or University degree as educational background.
- Few years’ experience of working in supply chain or/and in operational purchasing
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel
- Understanding of direct procurement activities and practices, as well as experience from ERP systems
- Demonstrated history of coordinating actions in multi-stakeholder environment
- Working understanding of inventory balancing activities is considered as an advantage
- Fluency in Finnish and Englis
