We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist in our International Headquarters in Luxembourg, who will support the Director of Charity & Promotion.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Management or in similar relevant field;
  • Previous experience in a similar role (3-5 years) is mandatory;
  • Understanding of purchasing management programs (SAP, Oracle SCM Cloud, etc.);
  • Being able to work independently and as a team;
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to details;
  • Networking and time management skills;
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus;Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors;
  • Sourcing materials, goods and products negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals;
  • Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary;
  • Monitoring purchased products to ensure quality;
  • Conducting market research to monitor emerging trends and business opportunities;
  • Inspecting stock and reporting any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately;
  • Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock;
  • Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled;
  • Attending product launches and networking with industry professionals;Ensuring all stock is packaged appropriately and delivered to the correct location in a timely manner.
