WHO YOU ARE

  • Significant experience planning and executing complex negotiations, with an ability to find pragmatic solutions, to close deals.
  • Proven negotiation skills with customers up to C level.
  • Proven commercial acumen working with customers, internally and externally, and a strong appreciation of sales processes and methodologies.
  • Significant experience in Commercial, Sales or Operations, managing virtual teams in the delivery of complex, global projects.
  • Experience working on complex sales pursuits in either a commercial, sales or bid related role.
  • Consistent delivery of exceptional results through matrix team structures driving optimal on and offshore structure.

Responsibilities:

We have an exciting position for a Pursuit Deal Lead, to join our UK Business Pre-Sales Commercial team where you will be working with our largest customers, building key relationships at C-Suite level to shape and scope future deals.

Working alongside our Sales team, you will be helping our enterprise customers to unlock their potential forming digital and technology solutions releasing value and efficiencies, turning problem statements into solutions.

  • Plan and execute complex negotiations, with an ability to find pragmatic solutions, to close deals.
  • Ownership of the entire pursuit lifecycle from suspect, prospect, opportunity to closure
  • Provide lead generation and sales development within new and current enterprise customers
  • Develop and nurture customer relationships to put Vodafone in the best position to win the bid
  • Manage significant and complex deals, collaboratively working with many different areas of the Business including Sales, Product, Solution, Legal, Finance and Technology to shape the best customer proposition.
  • Provide deal scope, solution/approach, accurate cost estimates, pre-staffing plans, financial costs, risks and contingency / risk reserve requirements and budgetary estimations.
