Description:

Our Python software engineers are employed in building, maintaining, and supporting new and existing quantitative study environments that are fundamental to our success and competitiveness in the current trading environment. We constantly improve the system, so it is stable, fast, and easy to use for our researchers.

Job Summary:

  • Part of the Options trading strategy development team
  • Responsible for the maintenance and constant improvement of our python-based platform that enables quantitative researchers to interact efficiently with trading systems, empowering powerful and fast data analysis and studies.
  • Work with Traders, Quantitative Researchers, and other Strategy Developers to facilitate new trading behaviors.
  • Work with large datasets to set up and maintain production-quality data pipelines..

What we’re looking for

  • Degree in Computer Science or other science or technical field
  • 5+ years’ experience in Python development, Python scientific stack and enthusiastic about the latest developments in Python.
  • Experience of distributed message-based systems and server-side software development with proven product delivery success
  • Experience with web services and Python development frameworks.
  • Full software development life cycle experience and exposure to agile software development
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and to propose novel technical solutions.
  • The ability to self-manage, self-motivate, and seek process improvement opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with quantitative researchers and other engineers.
  • Attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to react to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to participate and help in the deployment and maintenance of our production software.
