We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to develop and enhance a customer-facing content portal and accompanying API. This role involves front-end engineering, designing, and building additional user-friendly features into the existing Emerging Threats (ET) Intelligence Portal. The ideal candidate will write code using Java and Python to produce various new user interfaces.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience:
• 3+ years of experience working with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience in Python development.
• 3+ years of experience in front-end development for websites.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and integrating with RESTful APIs and databases.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 3+ years of recent relevant work experience.
• Or, 5+ years of recent relevant technical experience.

COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

• Strong understanding of front-end engineering and user interface design.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
