JOB DESCRIPTION
Are you a data minded problem solver with a natural drive to understand the “why” in what you do?
Do you get excited by developing new solutions to old problems?
Can you boil down large datasets to identify trends and craft a story explaining them?
The Model Implementation and Production team is responsible for implementation and execution of credit models, analytics, and reporting; this team is a unit of U.S. Bank’s Credit Risk Administration division. We are looking for a Python developer / solutions architect to help design our next-gen model production platform. If you can connect the dots between Kubernetes, web APIs, and Pandas / Numpy we want to talk to you.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Five to seven years of statistical and/or data analytics experience
PRIMARY EXPERIENCE
- Python development with packages such as: Pandas, Numpy, PyTest, SQLAlchemy, FastAPI
- SQL query development
- Analytics & reporting
IDEAL EXPERIENCE
- Model implementation / development
- Shell scripting
- Data science
- Apache Airflow
- Database schema design
- Git version control
- Managing containerized applications with Kubernetes or Docker
