Description:
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
At Mobot, we hire thinkers, innovators, and doers—individuals who dive in, get their hands dirty, and aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo. We’re looking for candidates who are passionate about solving problems, driving change, and making things better than how they found them. If you’re transitioning into tech after graduation or making a full career change, this is your opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
No matter your background—whether you’ve built your own app, worked in quality assurance, customer service, or are simply trying to get your start in the tech world—Mobot offers you the chance to learn, grow, and carve out your place. We’re looking for problem solvers who want to make an impact.
This role is in-person in NYC, and the working hours for this role are 12pm-8pm ET. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
As a QA Analyst at Mobot, you’ll be on the front lines, executing tests, analyzing data, and identifying areas for improvement. But your role goes beyond that—you’ll have the chance to redesign processes, work cross-functionally with Customer Success and Engineering, and become an authority in your domain. This is a space where your contributions will be seen and valued, and where you can push for change and innovation every day.
If you’re looking to break into tech, learn on the job, and gain tactile, real-world experience, this is the role for you. This is a faced paced job with a lot to juggle, but the successes and the community we build is worth every step.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of our small but dynamic team, you’ll wear many hats and have a wide variety of responsibilities:
- Perform and oversee manual tests for mobile applications, focusing on discovering bugs and uncovering improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve customer issues, offering your insights and becoming a trusted resource in the company.
- Document findings via detailed reports and video, ensuring clarity and precision.
- Assist the Customer Success team by providing comprehensive bug reports and investigations.
- Plan and execute automated mobile app testing using our mechanical robots.
- Participate in meetings where you will contribute to the ongoing process improvements, and document internal workflows.
