Description:

Are you relentlessly curious about how things work? Do you have an insatiable drive to know the answer, and a “no stone left unturned” mentality? Do you have a passion for software, and a desire to embark on a new and exciting career path with opportunity for growth and learning? Unlock your potential and make an impact at TurboTenant!
As a QA Analyst, you’ll be embedded in one of our Product teams where you’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure the utmost quality of the TurboTenant product.

ABOUT US:

At TurboTenant, we simplify the complex and intimidating process of managing your own rental property. And we do it through an elegant software platform for small, “do-it-yourself” landlords and their tenants. But don’t take our word for it. Read reviews from some of our 650,000+ landlords.

Responsibilities:

YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Manually testing the work that your product team implements, and recording defects during that process
  • Investigating and triaging issues reported by our Customer Experience team
  • Analyzing specifications and designs, and writing test cases and test plans for your product team’s planned work
  • Identifying problems with the existing product, and helping define solutions for those problems alongside other team members

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU MUST:

  • Have an exceptional attention to detail
  • Be persistent and unwavering in your advocacy for the quality of the product
  • Be eager to gain expert knowledge of the product, both front end and back end
  • Be driven to contribute to the success of your product team in delivering quality software in a timely manner
  • Love software and be obsessed with how it works and how it can break
  • Be organized, consistent, and reliable
  • Be comfortable with reviewing your shortcomings and mistakes in order to #BeBetter
  • Enjoy working with engineers, designers, and product managers
  • Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written
TurboTenant has offices in Fort Collins and Denver, Colorado, with the product team working out of our Denver office. Face-to-face time is an essential aspect of the TurboTenant culture, and the ideal candidate for this role would be expected in the Fort Collins or Denver office once a week (more if preferred).
