Description:
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Food Tech/Biotech/Food & Nutrition or Analytical Chemistry
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Food Safety and Quality System (FSSC 22000)
- Act as the Food Safety Team Coordinator
- Coordinate Supplier Quality Assurance activities
- Oversee activities and follow-ups for Validation and Verification of the food safety system
- Assist with external audits from certification bodies and customer auditors
- Coordinate Mock recalls and Traceability exercises
- Prepare and coordinate the Annual Management Review
- Participate in the HACCP plan review
- Oversee the company’s internal and GMP audit program
- Conduct in-house training on company policies, procedures, and basic GMPs
- Handle and trend consumer complaints, CARs, concessions, NCRs, and monthly quality assurance analysis
- Raise nonconformances, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure close-out
- Monitor CCP/OPRPs verifications
- Interpret test results, compare them to specifications, escalate issues, and make data release recommendations
- Serve as a technical liaison between quality and other departments, customers, and suppliers
- Participate in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate testing with contract laboratories and vendors
- Write technical reports such as deviation reports, testing protocols, and trend analyses
- Coordinate certifications (e.g., Halaal, Kosher)
