Description:

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Food Tech/Biotech/Food & Nutrition or Analytical Chemistry
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Food Safety and Quality System (FSSC 22000)
  • Act as the Food Safety Team Coordinator
  • Coordinate Supplier Quality Assurance activities
  • Oversee activities and follow-ups for Validation and Verification of the food safety system
  • Assist with external audits from certification bodies and customer auditors
  • Coordinate Mock recalls and Traceability exercises
  • Prepare and coordinate the Annual Management Review
  • Participate in the HACCP plan review
  • Oversee the company’s internal and GMP audit program
  • Conduct in-house training on company policies, procedures, and basic GMPs
  • Handle and trend consumer complaints, CARs, concessions, NCRs, and monthly quality assurance analysis
  • Raise nonconformances, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure close-out
  • Monitor CCP/OPRPs verifications
  • Interpret test results, compare them to specifications, escalate issues, and make data release recommendations
  • Serve as a technical liaison between quality and other departments, customers, and suppliers
  • Participate in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions
  • Coordinate testing with contract laboratories and vendors
  • Write technical reports such as deviation reports, testing protocols, and trend analyses
  • Coordinate certifications (e.g., Halaal, Kosher)
