PRINCIPAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • A third level qualification in IT

WORK EXPERIENCE NECESSARY:

Hand-on coding experience with C#, Java or other object-oriented programming languages. Experience in API testing and automated functional testing tools, preferably Selenium.
Experience in Test Automation including framework development, maintenance, automation planning and test execution.
Experience in working and testing relational databases (SQL).
Experience in Behavioural Driven Development, knowledge of Gherkin syntax with Specflow.
Strong knowledge of HTML, XPATH, CSS Selectors.
Excellent trouble shooting, problem solving, debugging and analytical skills.
Superb written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities:

As a member of the Development Team, you will have full responsibility for designing and implementing automated and manual tests, identifying bugs and issues and working alongside the development team to ensure the highest quality of products.

Key Responsibilities (Key Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to)

  • Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities
  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Design, create and execute automation scripts using C#, Selenium(WebDriver).
  • Review manual and automated test cases for the relevant application and provide feedback on suitability for automation to the team.
  • Configure test environments for executing test cases and scenarios.
  • Support, enhance and maintain all test case automation and related activities during iterative development, system testing, performance testing and regression testing.
  • Review user stories and functionality.
  • Assist with manual testing : execute manual test cases and scripts for products under development using test management/tracking tools.
  • Create and maintain test plans , cases, scenarios/scripts, in compliance with defined QA standards and methodologies.
  • Participate in development, deployment, and administration of QA process, tools, and supporting technologies.
