Description:

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina. Our client is a young US-based QA company providing end-to-end testing services for the digital eCommerce platform. The company was founded in 2015 based on the observation that as companies strive to strengthen their digital engagement with customers, the technology systems behind those experiences are becoming more complex, fragile, and prone to failure. Strong QA is a critical enabler in the delivery of these experiences. Combining deep eCommerce experience, proven methodologies, and cloud-enabled testing automation tools, they deliver more comprehensive QA services in less time than any other service provider.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in functional testing for web/mobile/in-house applications.
  • 4+ years of experience in conducting manual testing.
  • Solid analytical expertise for business and functional requirements, black/white/gray box testing experience, conducting functional and non-functional testing, etc.)
  • 4+ years of experience in manual/automated REST API testing (experience with REST Assured or similar tool experience desired).
  • 2+ years of experience in testing and automation testing strategies generating and creating frameworks of automation with Python.
  • 3+ years of experience promoting collaboration in the work team, training, and technical support to test engineers.
  • 2+ experience in promoting and creating a culture to manage the knowledge of the area to have scalability in the team.
  • 2+ years of experience using SQL language.
  • 2+ years experience working with distributed code repositories such as GitLab or GitHub, collaborating in programming teams, creating branches, commits, and merge requests.
  • 2+ years of experience automating test cases with Selenium in some object-oriented languages such as Java or Python.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and QA methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of the testing life cycle and defect life cycle.
  • Hands-on experience with ALM Tools like Jira, Trello, Pivotal Tracker, Mantis, and Bugzilla and generating customization of workflows and custom fields.
  • Understanding Docker, SonarQube, Maven, JUnit, TestNG, Serenity, or BDD.
  • Exposure to Agile methodology.

  • Work with business and technical subject matter experts for validation and verification of functional specifications and business end-to-end requirements of functional specifications and business end-to-end requirements.
  • Communicate and explain your tests and their results to technical and non-technical people.
  • Quickly learn new systems and their tech stack.
  • Collaborate with people across the globe with diverse cultures and backgrounds.

Will be a plus:

  • ISTQB/PAQ knowledge or certification.
