Description:

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a senior QA engineer with some experience with automation to help with both manual and automated testing in support of current and future implementations of a software application. We are seeking capable and enthusiastic people to serve in this role. You will be expected to work within an agile environment and have great communication and technical skills. Most of your responsibilities will revolve around creating and executing manual tests, with an emphasis on helping to add to our existing automation.

  • Identify, evaluate and recommend QA processes and activities in a scrum environment.
  • Execute QA processes and maintain a high level of quality, efficiency, and effectiveness in the deliverables for each sprint.
  • Define and document test cases based on user stories.
  • Help to automate regression and smoke tests when possible.
  • Estimate time needed and priority for tasks.
  • Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Able to communicate effectively in English
  • Proven experience creating test cases from stories.
  • Strong knowledge in QA best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.
  • 5+ years of QA experience working with software developers.
  • 1-3 years of QA Automation experience using Selenium WebDriver.
  • 1-3 years of experience with Java, Java-Script, XML, and HTML.
  • Familiarity with Defect Tracking Tools such as Jira.
