We are seeking a motivated QA Automation Intern who is passionate about software testing and quality assurance. This role is ideal for a student who is one year to a year and a half away from graduating and can commit to working 15-20 hours per week. As a QA Automation Intern, you will work closely with our development team to write, execute, and maintain automated tests, ensuring the highest level of quality across our platforms. This internship will provide valuable experience in coding automated tests and applying software programming skills in a real-world setting.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with at least 1-1.5 years remaining until graduation.
• Basic understanding of programming languages, particularly Python.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, MS Playwright) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote work environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must be based in Monterrey, NL, or willing to work remotely.

• Collaborate with the QA and development teams to understand product functionality and develop test strategies.
• Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and testing frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or MS Playwright.
• Assist in the development and implementation of testing strategies for various applications and features.
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to identify and document software defects.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the quality assurance process.
• Learn and apply software development best practices to the testing environment.
• Communicate testing progress, issues, and results to the QA team and other stakeholders.
• Support the QA team in maintaining and enhancing test environments.
