SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work to given deadlines.
• Knowledge of SDLC, software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of SQL including creating queries and table joins.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively report and document defects.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of software quality assurance.
• Knowledge of ERP systems would be an advantage.

• Responsible for the planning and delivery of testing for a given release and/or project in readiness for release into a live environment
• Clearly identify defects and steps on how to recreate issues.
• Design and prepare manual test scripts.
• Conduct functional and integration tests, monitor their execution, and analyse the results.
• Act as a point of contact between the project manager and development team for all test related artefacts.
• Be an active member of the team, putting your ideas forward in a clear and constructive way.
• Take responsibility for quality and project success.
• Actively engage in tasks with a hands-on approach.
• Work closely with developers to ensure quality.
• Ensure effective communication between customers and developers.
