Quality Engineer
This position is responsible to give support for ensuring Hasbro products manufactured at the various factories throughout Mexico and Latam are meeting the requirements set forth.
This support is provided through planning, analysis and follow up of tasks involving Global Quality, Global Sourcing and Global Project Management for local production projects in Mexico and Latam.
Coordination of all steps involved in the certification process of toys under local standards for Toys safety applicable to Mexico regulations (NOM-001, NOM-003, NOM-252, etc)
Perform audits, Walk Through, and production process monitoring to vendors and suppliers in the region. Audits to be performed include HIQ / PDHB /WT /SIP, all of them according to Hasbro requirements
Support on the different type of inspections performed by Hasbro to vendors with Local production: Product inspection audits and Hasbro Quality program audits.
Support to Global Sourcing team for the creation and distribution of Jet pack specs to vendors in Latam
Support in the creation of purchase orders requisition and follow up of payment of invoices involving services related to local production projects in Latam and regulatory compliance in Mexico.
Provide training to vendors on platforms that are mandatory to Hasbro Vendors: eConnect, Risk Connect, support on Chemical Management Database.
Knowledge on Quality Assurance processes
Proficiency on communicating in both Spanish and English
Auditing experience on Quality Management Systems
Familiar with Manufacturing processes
Experience on Management of projects
Able to manage relationships with vendors/supplier
