Ocean Infinity is seeking a talented and motivated QA Engineer with a strong software quality assurance background, to help us maintain our momentum, drive technological innovation, and uphold our commitment to excellence. The role reports directly to the Lead Quality Assurance Engineer and fits seamlessly within the group.

What will you do:

  • Create and execute fit for purpose tests, ensuring the best test coverage possible;
  • Work closely with all team members to identify and improve software development processes;
  • Ensure adherence to established QA processes and standards;
  • Communicate effectively about defects and their resolution;
  • Identify and leverage opportunities to enhance product quality and value;
  • Participate in the entire product development lifecycle, from requirements definition, to release end-to-end testing;
  • Share knowledge and mentor other team members;
  • Continuously evaluate and improve QA methodologies and practices.

Who you are:

  • A natural communicator, with the ability to articulate quality-related issues with a problem solving mindset;
  • You have extensive knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes;
  • Knowledgable in various types of software QA testing (web, desktop…);
  • Experienced with API testing tools;
  • You have proven experience in complex, agile software development projects;
  • You have proven experience with fast-paced environments;
  • You have a strong ability to derive and execute tests from complex technical concepts and requirements;
  • Proficient in test writing techniques and creating test artifacts;
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written;
  • Experienced with version control systems;
  • Familiar with Azure DevOps;
  • Experienced with Jira and Confluence.

Desirable:

  • Experience in developing, and executing automated tests to maintain high product quality;
  • Understanding of the needs and goals of test automation and automation tools/frameworks;
  • Experience with automation in testing.

Salary for the position: Up to 60,000€ per year.
Salary: The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades. The salary process is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.
