About Client - A UK based Startup Founded by a team of Google and Rocket Internet alumni, is looking for a Backend Engineer to join their team to build and scale their collaborative product.
About Role - Remote QA Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Establish QA foundations: design and implement a comprehensive QA strategy, including the development of testing frameworks and methodologies tailored to client’s needs.
- Automate testing processes: develop and maintain automated test scripts and methodologies to enhance our testing efficiency and coverage, reducing reliance on manual testing.
- Improve product robustness: identify, document, and track defects, ensuring they are resolved before product releases. Ensure key features, especially integrations (eg. Jira, Slack), are thoroughly tested.
- Monitor and report: implement monitoring tools and processes to catch issues proactively, ensuring we are aware of integration failures and other critical issues before our users.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: work closely with developers, designers, founders and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure the highest quality in product releases.
- Champion a culture of quality: raise the quality bar within the team, fostering a proactive approach to bug identification and resolution.
- Drive documentation: document testing processes, procedures, and best practices for future reference and team training.
