REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Experience gained within a Software Quality Assurance role with a level of test automation experience.
• Strong academic background, a degree in a STEM subject discipline would be beneficial.

THE ROLE

As a QA Engineer at Xceptor, you will be responsible for driving the quality for client projects, in collaboration with your project team and ensuring high quality releases/packages are delivered to clients. You will support consultants to ensure our client’s quality expectations are met both functionally and non-functionally.
You will become a subject matter expert able to provide testing guidance and direction, the voice of quality for Xceptor Client Project teams.
You will be responsible for aligning everyone in the project team to Xceptor’s quality practices and principles as a member of the QA discipline. This role requires strong communications skills, problem-solving skills, solid organisational skills and an openness to adapt. The successful candidate will be highly driven by the benefits of automation and fast feedback cycles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Key member of the Client Delivery Team, reporting to the Head of QA Delivery. Collaborates with the Technical Leads and QA team in the delivery team on the QA processes standardization for the delivery projects, aligning to the overall vision for the department.
• Produce test strategy and test plan for projects in collaboration with QA team, the project team and the client, ensuring that client’s functional and non-functional requirements have been delivered.
• Assist Project teams with functional testing and release package regression testing, to ensure Xceptor’ s definition of done has been met before releases are delivered to clients.
• Owning UAT triaging for client raised issues, ensuring the root cause has been identified in collaboration with project team and clients
• Drafting, automating and maintenance of Regression Test packs for projects.
