QA Lab Technician, 9-months contract (Entry Level)

• Permanent Day Shift: 7.15 am to 7.15 pm (Shift Pattern 3 2 2)
• Work Location: Jurong Island
• Fresh graduate (Diploma/Degree) with internship experience in a laboratory environment added advantage!

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

• The QA Laboratory Technician conducts accurate test analyses to approve or reject finished product batches. This role involves routine and non-routine sample testing, proper documentation, and maintaining lab standards.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

• Inspect and perform test analyses on finished products to support batch approval and rejection processes.
• Record test results in compliance with QA documentation practices.
• Test non-routine samples, such as retests and customer complaints.
• Prepare chemical reagents and maintain lab cleanliness.
• Monitor inventory levels of chemicals and glassware, informing the QC Manager as needed.
• Coordinate and send samples for external testing (e.g., microbial analysis, heavy metals).
• Undertake ad-hoc projects related to shelf-life studies and statistical tests.
• Complete tasks in line with QSHE requirements with minimal supervision.
• Conduct investigations when out-of-spec results are obtained.
• Communicate abnormalities to the Quality Manager.
• Cover duties for colleagues during absences.
