Assignment Description
Emagines client, a leading gaming company, is looking for a QA Lead to spearhead the transition towards automated testing. In this role, you will be at the forefront of the QA team, which currently relies heavily on manual testing but is moving towards a more automated approach. Your primary responsibility will be to lead, mentor, and guide the QA team, while also defining and implementing a robust test automation strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the gaming industry, extensive experience with test automation, and proven leadership in building and optimizing QA processes. You will play a critical role in establishing a modern, scalable, and efficient QA function that aligns with the fast-paced and innovative nature of the gaming industry.

Competence

GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE (NOT MANDATORY BUT PREFFERED)

  • Manual Testing: Solid foundation in manual testing methodologies, with the ability to identify areas where automation can bring the most value.
  • Performance and Load Testing: Experience with performance testing tools and methods to ensure games perform well under various loads.

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting quickly to new technologies and methodologies.
