KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes particularly with ERP systems testing.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile development methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experienceISTQB Advanced

Responsibilities:

SCOPE OF ROLE

As the QA Manager you will be responsible for the planning, co-ordination and execution of all QA activities ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will manage a team of QA Engineers and will be responsible for maintaining a positive, innovative and productive culture whilst implementing best practices. You will collaborate closely with the development, product and support teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions to our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the daily activities of the QA team including workload management, performance reviews and skills development.
  • Define and implement the overall QA strategy for product testing ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Ensure timely identification, tracking and resolution of software defects in co-ordination with development teams.
  • Manage the development and execution of automated and manual tests to ensure comprehensive test coverage for all product releases.
  • Oversee test case design, test planning, test automation strategy and execution
  • Drive continuous improvement in test automation frameworks and tools to reduce manual testing efforts and accelerate release cycles.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, technical specifications and customer use cases.Provide seamless communication between the QA team, development and customer support teams ensuring smooth product delivery and to resolve issues timely and effectively.
