Description:

SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Quality focussed professional to prepare, manage and ensure materials and site installation proceed to the required standards and quality. You will also be required to coordinate site documents on our Shotton ETP works. Working closely with Site Managers and wider team.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous site material, document control and QMS technical experience with a focus on quality installation. Ultimately, you’ll support our procedures maintaining transparent, up to date and easily traceable documents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven work experience and a clear understanding of Quality Assurance, material and document control (essential)
  • Previous experience working on large scale water industry construction projects
  • Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems, proficient with MS Office and various computer software
  • Excellent at building relationships at all levels to ensure flow of communication
  • Familiarity liaising with Project Management, Procurement, Commercial and site teams
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable) & CSCS

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor contractors installation and performance
  • Weekly status reports/meetings with Client quality team
  • Review Contractors Inspection test Plan
  • Adhere to internal system for management of quality documentation and ensure appropriate document control
  • To ensure effective logistics and material control is in place for the project
  • Stored materials inspection/preservation/weather protection strategy/records
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects as needed
  • Data book and Manufacturing record Book compilation and review
  • Installation & O&M manual collation and review
  • Piping non-destructive testing/inspections coordination
  • Welder certs/qualification records review
  • Flushing, Hydro & pressure test procedures & compliance
  • Installation quality and dimensional accuracy review
  • Review vendor as built information
  • Review and update technical documents (e.g. manuals and workflows)
  • Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement
  • Liaison with Procurement Team to assist in the arrangement for provision of transport, and to ensure prompt action requests
  • Physical Inventory Control and verification on the usage of the materials
