QA/QC Engineer – Mechanical/Piping Works

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a proficient QA/QC Engineer for Mechanical/Piping Works to oversee the quality assurance and control measures for mechanical and piping installations on our fiber pipeline project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical in ensuring that all mechanical components and systems are installed according to the highest quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of eight (8) years of construction experience, with at least five (5) years focused on quality control in mechanical and piping works.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• In-depth understanding of mechanical engineering principles and quality control processes.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in using industry-standard quality control tools and equipment.

• Implement and monitor quality control procedures and standards for mechanical and piping works.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers and construction managers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Document and maintain quality assurance records, including inspection reports, test results, and certification documents.
• Ensure all mechanical and piping materials and equipment meet quality requirements and specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and training to site personnel on quality control practices and standards.
