Description:
Job Summary
The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for implementing site quality assurance and quality control system, in compliance with the quality standards at site.
Job Responsibilities
- Engaging the project team to deliver high quality works;
- Leading the QA/QC team and training the site team on Structural and Architectural trades;
- Assessing site operations and procedures daily and recommending improvements;
- Providing insights for defects and recommending preventive measures;
- Preparing monthly reports for Management;
- Conducting Internal Quality Audits;
- Compiling trade information, test reports, and formalising documentation;
- Liaising with authorities (i.e. BCA on assessment to achieve target score, LTA on inspections and compliances)
- Adhering to safety practices in the workplace.
- Obtaining buy-in from project team towards quality assurance and quality control initiatives.
- Translating deep understanding of quality standards and requirements into site works.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or construction related field
- Min. 3 years of building and/or civil engineering and 1 building project completion
- Experience in QA/QC and certified auditors would be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of quality requirement of BCA, industry norms and contract specifications as well as structural & architectural works
- ISO 9000 Certified
