Monadelphous is currently seeking a highly skilled QA/QCSMP Inspectors to join upcoming projects in the Mining & Resources sector. This opportunity is on a 2/1 FIFO roster with an attractive salary package, PCB and site uplift on offer.
The role of QA/QC SMP Inspector will see you responsible for the preparation and implementation of the project’s quality management policy, system and strategies within the project; providing technical advice and assistance to the project team as well as liaising with clients in relation to quality requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and quality control checks on mechanical equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Ensure accurate standards, procedures and specifications are in place for the maintenance of the mechanical equipment assets
  • Issue, follow up and close out of Non-Conformance Reports and Field Discrepancies
  • Maintain comprehensive inspection records and reports, including test results, measurements, and findings.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to provide technical expertise and support during the inspection process.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a similar QA/QC SMP Inspector position within the resources sector
  • Strong knowledge of the AS/NZS ISO 9001 quality systems and processes
  • Strong knowledge of SMP equipment within quality inspection roles
  • Sound working knowledge of Australian standards and codes
  • Relevant qualifications and field experience
  • Demonstrated ability in computer skills including MS Word and MS Excel
  • A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Proof of right to work in Australia
