OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

To lead Quality activities for the Engineering Division by managing a team of Engineers and inspectors.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Preparation and Amendments of the Company QA Manual
• Control / Distribution of Company Quality Documentation
• Coordination with the Estimation Department for Pre-bid Project Requirements in terms of Quality
• Preparation, Implementation and Control of Project Quality System Management documentation prior to project commencement
• Manage the QAQC functions of the project
• Implement and Monitor the Quality Management System at site
• Ensure the Project specified requirements and Quality standards are met and monitored
• Verify contractor Quality Requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals
• Assign task and manage QAQC Team
• Assign objectives for the Quality Personnel and monitor the performance
• Ensure training related to quality system is provided to the project team for effective implementation
• Monitor the progress and effectiveness of Project Quality Management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required
• Ensure Quality review checks is performed for Technical Documents prior to formal submissions
• Liaise with the construction execution team and other contractors on day-to-day basis
• Ensure the Quality of Installation is in line with Project Quality standards and minimize Non-Conformance / Observations
• Enforce periodic surveillance of ongoing / completed works to ensure compliance to Quality
• Implement KPI’s to monitor / track and control quality of Engineering, Installation, T&C and Project closeout
• Liaise with the QS Team and providing comprehensive status report of Inspections as a supporting document required for the Monthly Payment Application
• Generate periodic Quality reports for the management.

WHAT EQUIPS YOU FOR THE ROLE

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
15 years of QA QC experience on mixed use developments with at least 5 years as a manager, leading teams on multiple projects.
