QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred

• Quality Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Management Plan (QMP) for substation projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Inspections and Testing: Oversee all quality inspections and testing procedures for substation equipment and materials, ensuring adherence to project requirements and safety standards.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions. Prepare detailed QA/QC reports for project stakeholders.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the QA/QC team, providing guidance and support in their professional development and ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance quality performance and efficiency.
• Compliance Oversight: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to quality assurance and control.
• Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs for project staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
