Description:

On a day-to-day basis, we develop, produce and market non-destructive testing devices: sensors, probes, robotic solutions, etc., as well as the necessary operating software. Our instruments have applications in a variety of industries, including oil & gas, aerospace and nuclear.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in quality management
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Quality Control or assembly of mechanical, electric, or electronic devices or systems.
  • Post secondary education is an asset.
  • Experience with machine parts is an asset.
  • Job / Project oriented experience is an asset.
  • Project Management experience is an asset.
  • Quality certifications are an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Quality Control team to ensure that the quality of parts, components, and products, either manufactured in-house or purchased meets the specifications and expectations by testing or inspecting them as well as by working with internal departments and suppliers to communicate and develop their abilities to do so.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure that all deliverables scheduled get integrated on time and meeting the scope of each project.
  • Participate in the management of the Quality Management System, including internal audits, management reviews, improvement systems, etc.
  • Identify and deal with issues and opportunities for improvement on products, processes, jigs and tools, as well as issues and growing opportunities with the crew.
  • Monitor the performance of the department, focusing on quality indicators, lead times, costs, etc.
  • Participate in the interviewing, selection and hiring; and training of new and existing employees; authoring and discussing with employees’ performance appraisals, performance, and corrective action plans
  • Interact with Manufacturing, Project Management, and Engineering departments to ensure the best possible output from the process
  • Ensure that all the safety standards, policies and procedures are met by all employees and documentation and records are kept as required
