Responsibilities:
PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The primary responsibility of the QA Supervisor is to oversee the daily operations of the site’s Quality Assurance (QA) function, ensuring strict adherence to our quality assurance procedures at all times.
KEY TASKS:
- Supervision of QA Team: Lead and manage a team of Quality Assurance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
- Auditing: Ensure the effective auditing of materials, products, processes, and procedures, maintaining strict compliance with quality standards.
- Compliance Audits: Conduct and oversee compliance audits, including glass audits and hygiene audits, to ensure regulatory and internal standards are met.
- Support Technical Manager: Assist the Technical Manager in the development of standards and procedures aimed at ensuring the highest level of final product quality.
- Hygiene Monitoring: Monitor and review hygiene standards and cleaning procedures, making improvements where necessary.
- Records Management: Oversee the daily collation of all QA records and ensure any non-compliance issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Training & Development: Participate in and facilitate training and development activities. Ensure that all Production Managers are trained in Critical Control Points (CCPs) and are verified as competent.
- Cross-Departmental Liaison: Work closely with other departments such as Production, Planning, and Despatch to ensure full compliance and maximum operational efficiency.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other duties that align with this role as required.
