WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
We will require you to be an effective communicator, self-starter and team player with an affinity for continued learning and self-improvement. You will need to demonstrate your ability to think innovatively to find solutions to complex problems and act as a change contributor to get things done. We are also looking for someone who enjoys working in rapidly changing environments who can cultivate trust by contributing to a safe environment for healthy conflict and meaningful collaboration as well as foster a culture of continuous improvement.
KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS
Experience or strong willingness to learn a subset of the following:
- Programming in Java, using test libraries such as Selenium
- Working in Jenkins to build and deploy code
- Tracking issues in Jira
- Working on group software projects using GitHub
- Leveraging software testing methodologies and best practices
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
For your candidacy to be considered, you must be a recent graduate of a Bachelor of Computer Science program or related field. At least three (3) four-month work terms or 12 months experience working in a similar QA role.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Are you a new or soon-to-be graduate looking to start your career in software development and test automation? We have opportunities in our highly functional Banking Operations Scrum Teams that will allow you to take a hands-on test automation development role where you will be able to:
- Work with the Scrum Team and Product Owner to take on work that brings value to our stakeholders and clients
- Analyze User Stories and determine the best approach to validate the acceptance criteria
- Write test automation code in java using testing frameworks and libraries (such as Selenium)
- Contribute to building pipelines by creating or enhancing DevOps components
