EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

An excellent understanding of software quality assurance and QA best practices

• ISTQB Foundation or higher
• Solid working knowledge of web, integration and API testing
• 3+ years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
• Experience with performance, load, security, and accessibility testing (Desirable)
• Direct experience of test automation and writing automation scripts for REST API (Desirable)
• Basic SQL knowledge to aid with querying databases
• Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, Postman, BrowserStack, Rollbar (or similar error reporting solutions)
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience testing eCommerce websites/platforms (Desirable)
• Experience working within and supporting Agile Scrum

• Writing and executing test cases (manual and automated) and analysing
• Accurate and thorough evidencing of test execution
• Ensuring that acceptance criteria is correct and sufficient such as to ensure quality while minimising risk
• Reporting and escalating bugs and issues to development teams and Product Managers
• Participating in Scrum ceremonies which include refinement, estimation and planning sprints.
• Testing across a range of devices; desktop, mobile, tablet etc
• Working with other QA Engineers to improve processes, document and share knowledge of the systems amongst the team.
