Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

QA Testers at Pugpig are focussed on ensuring quality and stability across all of our products. You will work closely with teams across the business, including our product, professional services and development teams, whilst reporting directly to the Head of QA. You will work on manual testing for a full range of products, including regression, exploratory and sanity testing – plus debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving. You will also be involved in client projects to test their apps and websites. There will be opportunities to develop and improve our processes and ways of working.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Testing across all products, such as server, native apps and web
  • Replicating and debugging all types of issues using tools including IDEs, Charles proxy, browser inspectors
  • Using JIRA and TestRail to log test results and issues, and explaining detailed test results
  • Manual testing and automated testing, as well as exploratory testing of new features
  • Product regression testing
  • Testing client apps and sites, often with reference to their designs, and considering usability, accessibility, performance and localisation
  • Creating documentation
  • Contributing to and taking part in meetings such as daily stand-ups, project calls, demos and retros
  • Creating and improving manual and automated test cases
