This position is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving plant quality control whilst working within Capral’s Integrated Management System (IMS). Additionally, this role will assist with the delivery and development of onsite employee training with the guidance of Group ESG & Risk team.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensure product and / or systems are delivered in accordance with IMS requirements and reflect quality assurance and quality control best practice.
- Ensure ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications are always up to date and current.
- Maintain accreditation for IACS membership i.e.: DNV & Lloyds etc.
- Convey the quality message, by training end users in developed quality / process models. Engage teams in quality through regular briefings.
- Ensure yearly internal audit accomplished according to audit schedule and plan.
- Identify root cause issues of non-conformances and develop corrective actions that will eliminate the problems.
- Process customer returns including physical inspection; analysing the trend, provide related report to management.
- Undertake customer visits in relation to quality issues, seek to assist and provide resolutions to problems.
- Develop site and functional training plans with the guidance of the Group ESG & Risk team and assist with the design of individual training plans.
- Ensure company-wide training is consistent, measured and delivered in an appropriate manner.
- Consult with management to develop and resource specialist training.
- Ensure all training meets the relative legislative requirements (forklift, working at heights, etc.).
- Any other tasks as required.
