The Role & What You Will Be Doing

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the QC Analyst – Micro role will make an impact:

  • The analysis of raw materials, in process and finished products.
  • Completion of facility monitoring of Grade D manufacturing areas, such as Environmental Monitoring, water sampling and testing.
  • Reading and trending of analytical data, authoring analytical reports and performing peer reviews.
  • Execution of analytical method transfers and compendia verification of microbiology test methods.
  • Development and updating of laboratory documentation.
  • Investigate out of specification results utilizing structured problem-solving skills in conjunction with relevant departments in order to implement effective preventative actions.
  • Undertaking non-routine/complex projects and responsibilities as applicable.
  • Following all relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to site policies, GMP and environmental, health and safety regulations.

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a microbiology laboratory environment.
  • Experience in raw material, release testing and facility monitoring.
  • Experience in Method Validation/Transfer/Verification preferable.
  • Experience of endotoxin and sterility testing of biopharmaceutical products would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge in performing Media suitability testing is an advantage.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritise.
