EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Graduate of any discipline preferably Printing Technology or diploma holder of its equivalent.
• Experience and exposure to the quality control and inspection procedures preferably in Printing and Packaging industry.
• Exposure to the quality aspects of paper and board would be an advantage.
• At least 2 years’ experience in quality control tasks.
• Attended Orientation training and ISO related trainings

• Assists the QC Supervisor in inspecting goods based on the parameters given or as per the specifications listed.
• Conducts periodical checking of all machines, manual packing in the shop floor to ensure the right quality.
• Performs random sampling from finished goods and clears it online and shall stamp a “QC OK” tag on the outer part of the goods affixed with signature as conformance.
• Advice concerned machine operator/ Production Supervisor /Production Manager if non-conformity of products has been found for immediate rectification and resolution. Shall report the same to the QC Manager for further course of action.
• Stamps QC HOLD tag on products found to be in non-conformity condition for possible sorting/ reworking.
• Completes accurate records in the Finished Goods Index registry for all finished goods cleared maintained in the QC Department.
• He will record the finished goods inspection report as per sampling procedure MIL STD-10SE in electronic files.
• He will make sure the finished goods material transfer form has verified against works order in his shift and handed over to Shipping Dept. before he leaves from his shift.
• Ensures proper safety measures for all equipment and personnel are being maintained throughout the performance of each tasks.
• Monitor Hygiene and Safety in line with foregoing internal policy of the company and ensuring proper housekeeping and arrangement of materials whenever possible.
• Ensures to cooperate in the event that overtime duty is required. Shall work on Sundays / Holidays if required.
