ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION
The insulation QC inspector is a part of the System Integrations team in the Fixed Facilities Alliance (FFA) for Yggdrasil , Hugin A/B
The role will cooperate with the FFA discipline teams on insulation – both package team and yard construction – to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
The role will follow quality control for package and yard scope as per ITP.
The role represent Aker BP in the execute phase of the Yggdrasil field development, ensuring Aker BP fulfil its see-to-it duty within the insulation disciplines.
- Discuss and follow up package criticality assessment with package team
- Review supplier documents, e.g., procedures, ITPs, qualification records and QC plans
- Ensure project follow-up activities are performed in accordance with ITP and criticality assessment for both package and yard scope
- Perform project follow-up activities in accordance with ITP and package/yard criticality assessment
- Responsibility for discussing technical queries, decision logs, deviation requests and non-conformances with FFA discipline team and relevant Aker BP technical authority
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with QC Field work.
- Knowledge to applicable project documents, industry procedures and guidelines, recommended practices, standards
